I have been using just soap to wash my hair during shower, and have not tried the shampoo products before. My hair looks OK, or is it my poor eye sight?!Are hair products (shampoo %26amp; conditioner) really better than soap for men's hair?
If soap is working for you, Great! But in general, yes shampoo %26amp; conditioner are better for your hair because their formulated to provide the nutrients needed to give hair a healthy shine, or detangle or make-it thicker, thinner, etc whichever you need depending.

you should use body wash for your body and head and shoulders for your hair thats why they make shampoo and bodywash.
see, i am not so sure about mens health and beauty and all that but i am very smart on any type of hair. hair is hair so anytype of hair needs good nutrition (dogs, cats, rabits etc.) all hair needs good nutrition and the right nutrition so for human hair it is best to use shampoo and conditioner for good hair nutrition!!!

soap in men's hair can give serious dandruff. It is really bad for their hair.
Well, I'm sure the your hair doesn't look that bad, but shampoo/conditioner will help a lot. It makes your hair healthier, as already said, and it stops it from fraying at the ends if you have longer hair washing with soap. Try finding samples of shampoo or small bottles and test to see which one you like better. Hope everything turns out! Btw, each shampoo is different so read the label before you buy.
Probably your eyesight - try shampoo like sunsilk, you'll notice the difference.
