What is the difference between normal shampoo and shampoo for men?

Just wondering, I've noticed hair types are distinguished by how curly/straight/wavy someone's hair is, how can certain shampoos be generally designed for a specific gender?

From what I've heard, other than the fragrance, it's to do with the pH balance on the skin which is different on a man compared to a woman. Its Stronger! Well, womens and mens are typically the same, but the ingredients are the same except slight differences like vitamins and all that, and the fragrances of womens shampoo are usually more smelly
well what i have noticed is There is a difference in the smell and the feel it gives your hair and i only know what the girls shampoo is like because i took a shower with my gf lol good times!!!! but any way that the diff
The smell. Most shampoos smell pretty girly so it's a more manly smelling option. Also a lot of men's shampoos have extra conditioning elements because their hair is shorter and their scalp is more exposed.
It's adpated so that more men will buy that shampoo, increasing their target market to a wider audience of both men and women. And it probibly smells different too, more masculin
The scent and the price difference as opposed to a non-gender specific shampoo.
They add different manly fragrances but other than that, I don't see any difference chemically...
The only difference is they way they are marketed and their fragrances.
